Bethel-Tate Local School District Has 5-Year Emergency Levy on the ballot on May 4, 2021.
The Current Emergency Levy and Bond Issue is being Replaced with 7.5 Mills Emergency Levy.
The levy is necessary tokeep our quality teaching staff and protect current programs and services
for our Bethel-Tate students and community.
WHY NOW?
The 5-year emergency-operating levy passed in 2016 is expiring this year. The financial forecast shows the need to renew this emergency levy and request additional millage to protect our current programs and services.
Additional Revenues Will Allow Us To:
If the levy fails:
The district must cut $1.5 million
from our annual budget.
These cuts will negatively impact our students, staff, and community.
Annual increase of $18.55
for a $100,000 homeowner.
$1.55 monthly increase for a
$100,000 homeowner.
The district will be sharing details of this upcoming ballot issue at a Town Hall on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, beginning at 6 p.m. at Bethel-Tate High School.
The Town Hall will also be live-streamed. The link to join the meeting virtually is posted on the district website at www.betheltate.org.
